The article, "Always on" by Elon University reveals the truth into the lives of today's hyper connected youth. In the article it states, "they have grown up in a world that has come to offer them instant access to nearly the entirety of human knowledge, and incredible opportunities to connect, create and collaborate." It goes to show that our youth is technologically advanced and if the time spent on the social media was used in collaboration towards benefiting the educational system then its a win win scenario.
Then the article goes into depth by covering concerns amongst other universities and well known educational professionals, “there is a palpable concern among these experts that new social and economic divisions will emerge as those who are motivated and well-schooled reap rewards that are not matched by those who fail to master new media and tech literacies".
